On 15 August 1947, India got freedom. Sacrifice and courage of freedom fighters are invaluable. They contributed in all the ways to let us breathe in the air. With innumerable leaders and their force lead a way to throw the British empire out of the Nation. From the day when we got independence till now, we have achieved innumerable achievements. And, contributing to the world’s development.
Our Superheroes of Independence
Every Indian contributed a lot to get independence and become a hero of this fight. They got vision and direction from some great leaders such as the ‘Mahatma Gandhi’, Subhash Chandra Bose, etc.
Sukhdev, Rajguru, and Bhagat Singh are such unforgettable leaders who sacrificed their lives and injected fire in each Indian. Their death brings a revolution in Indian society and culture, and volume up the sound of independence. Many other unsung warriors played crucial roles, and portray a character of rebellion.
Our Achievement in the last 74 years
Though we had very less or nothing, we took a long walk and achieved incredible things in 74 years. With our zeal, hard work, and positive attitude, we have accomplished many scientific achievements. Along with that, Indian culture and society found a renaissance in the Nation.
India has developed its constitution, to frame the role and duties, and their rights. We developed our education system to give high-class in-depth knowledge to our kids and build future leaders. Socially, we have reform our society rules related to untouchability or violence against women.
Economically, we became one of the major contributors to the world’s GDP. Also, according to a report, India ranked third as the most powerful military in the world.
What did we Lose in the last 7 Decades?
From our independence to till date, what we have lost the most is our soldiers. India is still fighting with its neighboring countries and losing brave soldiers in faceoffs.
It is also struggling with their internal disputes. Most of them are religious beliefs, while others are related to the dependence of one state’s necessities to another.
We must work on these critical issues and resolve them at earliest. They are some of the barriers that affected our ‘Unity in Diversity’ Nation.
Another critical concern on which we all must be focussed is to population. People should understand that the resources are limited, and every individual has rights over it.
Someone remarked, “The choice is really between control of the population and the perpetuation of poverty.”
What does India Demand on its Birthday?
In this Corona-era, the Nation wants “ Aatmanirbharta.” All Indian citizens must be Independent and work to build a national economy and provide employment. They should be focussed on developing an Indian culture rather than any religious culture. They lead the world with their basic principles of Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
